Do wear a watch and try to finish off downside just as fast as you went up.

6X800m or 4X800m @5K pace with 400 m recovery
4X400m @ mile pace with 200 m recovery
Mile or longer warm down
Thursday Evening Track Workout at NBG Track: Sept 22 @ 6pm
Join us for a Thursday evening track session.
This is a fun and quite possibly painful session:
1600 m warm-up
- Stretch and Strides
4 or 5 sets of:
3 minute jog at 5K mile pace
1 minute run at fastest mile ever pace
10 seconds all out
As an example, I would run the first 3 minutes at 5:30 mile pace, 1 minute @ 4:20 mile pace, and finish with a 10 secs sprint like Usain Bolt.
Rest is 400 m recovery jog.
1200 m recovery after the final set.
